The crisp autumn breeze means that we are finally waving goodbye to summer. However, the dull weather is a great excuse to turn your attention indoors and give your interiors some attention. Some of the biggest autumn trends in 2018 include darker palettes, interesting textures, heritage and rustic charm.
Burnt orange, copper and paprika continue to feature heavily in the new fabric collections this season. We can see why! Adding earthy autumnal tones to your home is certainly an easy way to bring warmth and richness to a room. We also find these warm colours complement a wide variety of neutral base colours such as taupe, grey and blue.
Autumn tones also sit well alongside other current trends. Rustic furniture, chunky woollen knits and animal imagery all mix well with intense hues of bramble, blue, brown and spicy orange.
Wools, plush fabrics and rugs are all great for adding that extra layer of cosy that your home may need this autumn. Something as simple as adding new cushions can make all the difference! Think Pumpkin spiced lattes, toffee apples and autumnal fruits if you need inspiration for your colour schemes.
