Our recent blog posts have tended to focus on domestic interiors and interior design for your home so we thought we would change the emphasis in this post and feature a design project and a client with which we have had the privilege to work – Knockinaam Lodge.
Knockinaam Lodge is the only luxury boutique hotel in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland. Owners David & Sian Ibbotson warmly welcome guests with personalised service, stunning individual room and suite accommodations, and a delightful intimate and romantic atmosphere.

John Dick & Son has been working with David and Sian for the past 9 years to constantly refresh and upgrade the rooms at Knockinaam Lodge to help keep it at the top end of the luxury hotel market. We are fortunate enough to have worked on a number of rooms so far and we appreciate the the freedom and trust they have shown in us. Likewise, we appreciate the opportunity to work with a client who understands the need to provide a truly “home away from home” setting for guests, their attention to detail and desire to provide the very best quality has been rewarded in the many awards and accolades showered on the hotel.

The work at Knockinhaam has been done over a period of time working to a carefully planned schedule to ensure minimum downtime for rooms and, minimum disruption for other guests. Everything is planned in detail before we arrive on site and the installation of each room is complete quickly and with the minimum possible inconvenience to the business and the hotel guests.
