So, it’s been a really busy time at John Dick & Son; since the beginning of 2012 we’ve been getting our new venture, the Sofa Barn ready to open and, we’ve had all of the usual buying trips for John Dick & Son. Now it’s all coming together with an extremely successful opening of the Sofa Barn and lots of new furniture arriving for our fine furniture showroom. We’ve also been extremely busy in the Design Studio with lots of work for domestic and commercial projects.
Last weekend was slightly strange for us, we had two distinctly different showrooms in operation targeting separate, but very much connected, markets; it got us thinking about how the business is growing and how far we have come in recent times. We now offer something for every room of your home whether it’s a signature piece for your main reception room or, a sofa for your TV room or conservatory. It may be a chair for your study or, a dining table for your kitchen – we can offer something that will not only suit your taste, but also your budget.
The one thing we can always guarantee is quality and, even though the Sofa Barn offers suites from £599, they are still made to the same high quality we have brought to you for the last 58 years. How can this be? Simple, we have chosen suppliers who make furniture for specific markets; our Sofa Barn range is designed with price in mind so every detail and process is planned to reduce wastage without compromising in the quality. The best way to see what we mean is to come in and take a look, we’re sure you will be amazed and pleasantly surprised at the choice, quality and price.
Below you will see an interesting graphic that highlights just how much we have to offer and what you can expect when you visit our “Campus” – lots of choice and a warm welcome.
